Idaho Good Sam Generosity
January 1 2019 - 10:22pm

As Idaho Good Sam starts the new year we have many things to celebrate and a few things that need a little care. I have been reading about all the generous donations given to many organizations in our state and how much it is needed. So I am taking this moment to say thank you for all the generosity you have shown and the time you have given to "Dogs for Better LIving".
Our chapters donated in 2018 grand total of $8,135.82 to this organization.
Thank you, Idaho Good Sam and I am so proud to be a part of the wonderful group.

Standing Rules Change
April 30 2017 - 9:37am

The Idaho Standing Rules were revised to reflect that the State Treasurer is elected in odd years to serve a two year term which alternates with the Director position. As explained at the President's Meeting at the Spring Fling on April 21, 2017, the Good Sam Club suggested this change in order to maintain contact continuity in the event no one steps up for the Director position. The Committee (Presidents) voted to make this change after discussing it with chapter members. Our current Treasurer, Phil, has graciously agreed to continue an extra year in order to effect this change. He was unanimously elected for the additional year at the Fall Round Up, 2017. Thank you, Phil.
Elimination of the Spring Fling
April 30 2017 - 9:34am

Members have voted to eliminate the Spring Fling meeting and conduct business meetings at the Samboree/Rally in June as well as the Fall Round Up. This means two meetings per year instead of three. The Samboree format would continue with the exception of having one day set aside for business meetings prior to the commencement of the Samboree activities. Watch the Calendar page of our website for new information as it becomes available.
