Idaho Good Sams

Idaho Good Sams holds three meetings a year. Only one is a Samboree and it is held the 2nd week of June each year. The Samboree brings in vendors, has seminars and entertainment -- but mostly we have fun! The Spring Fling and Fall Roundup are state meetings where we take care of the business for Idaho Good Sams. We also have games, potlucks, entertainment and fellowship at all of the meetings... not just boring business!! We look forward to seeing everyone who attends.

2012 Events

	SPRING FLING – April 18-20 2012 "COME TO THE COUNTY FAIR" Jerome Idaho Fairgrounds (Boots Otto) Dinner Registration Form	The contract for the Fairgrounds is completed and a contract for the banquet has been finalized for $11.50 per person.
	IDAHO SAMBOREE – June 6-10 2012 "HERE WE HAVE IDAHO" Blackfoot Fairgrounds (Jennie McCormick) Registrar: Barbara Tehle - dtehle@aol.com Registration Form	Plans are already being made. The Blackfoot Fairgrounds is a very good facility for our Samboree. We have sent the information to National to get listed in Highways magazine. Each chapter is encouraged to create an Idaho theme sculpture, including your chapter name and town, to be no more than 6 feet tall. These will be used as stage and other decorations. A Dutch oven cook off, a cake walk and a tour of Fort Hall Bottoms are some other things that are planned.
	FALL ROUNDUP – Sept 12-16 2012 Kootenai County Fairgrounds (Larry Wier) Coeur d’Alene	A contract was signed for the fairgrounds at a very good price, one that we can easily live with next year. We hope many of you will plan your travels to include the Idaho Fall Roundup in Coeur d’ Alene. parking with electric will be available for $12.50/day. Farragut State Park is nearby at Sandpoint, Bird Museum (medical device and aviation) and Silverwood Theme Park are nearby attractions.
